You want your furry buddy to put their best paw forward for your visitors. Take Fido to the salon and get him a bath and a pawdicure. If you have a kitty, give your feline pal a good brushing.

Before your guests arrive, do a good deep cleaning. A thorough vacuuming and dusting will help get rid of dead fur, dust, and pet dander. Wash your pet’s bedding in hot water and unscented detergent. It’s also a good idea to replace your air filters. Don’t forget to change Fluffy’s litterbox!

If you know or suspect that your visitors have allergies, take a few extra steps to make their stay comfortable. Set out some boxes of tissues, and stock up with OTC allergy medicines.
