Animal Chiropractic Care Now Available in Des Moines

January 12, 2015
chiroWe are pleased to announce that Dr. Peterson has completed her 260 hours of intensive class training at The Healing Oasis Wellness Center and is now certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (VSMT) which many refer to as Animal Chiropractic Care. Chiropractic care helps with symptoms related to dysfunction of the spinal, pelvic or peripheral joint subluxations. A subluxation is a motion segment in which alignment, movement and /or physiologic function is altered. Subluxations are corrected with manual adjustments by gently using the hands to help improve motion, joint function and misalignment. Manual adjustments are well tolerated by most animals. Chiropractic care can add an integrative approach to traditional veterinary medicine to help restore motion, mobility and flexibility and optimize neurological function thorough improved nerve signal transmission. Dr. Peterson is now accepting her current patients in Des Moines for Veterinary Chiropractic (VSMT) treatment and is accepting referrals from other clinics.
